Choreography Special Workshop
Unlock your inner dancer
Join us for a unique 4-hour choreography workshop.
This exclusive experience is your chance to learn a captivating choreography and perform it with a live band!
The workshop spans two dates, each with a 2-hour session. This format allows you to absorb and perfect each part of the choreography comfortably.
While both dates are essential, you can join the workshop even if you can only attend one of the dates.
Grand Finale: The special peaks with a live performance of the choreography at the TAP NIGHT Event on December 09th at THE FLOOR.

Tap Dance Basics
The introduction to Tap dance, where rhythmic coordination and movements set the stage for fundamentals and basic technique exercises.
No tap shoes are required to begin; bring your comfortable dance shoes and get ready to have fun!
Beginner / Intermediate
Are you ready to take your tap dancing skills to the next level? This class has groovy steps, footwork exercises, and exciting floor combinations.
Expand your existing knowledge and deepen your understanding of the art form.
Improvisation
Discover the art of improvisation.
Regardless of your level, this class will help you improve your improvisation skills through engaging exercises and space to practice, hear yourself, and express.
From mastering techniques with a metronome to exploring the potential of your own voice in tap, this class promises to inspire your creativity.
About us:
At TAP SESSIONS, we believe that tap dancing is more than just a dance style.
It's an art that connects people through rhythm and movement. Our mission is to provide an inviting space for everyone to express themselves and learn tap dance in Leipzig.
Andrea Alvergue
As a contemporary tap dancer, Andrea combines rhythm and movement to explore new expressive possibilities. Originally from El Salvador, she completed her professional training in classical ballet in Honduras under the Royal Academy of Dance system, in contemporary dance with Ballet Creole in Canada, and in tap dance with Onemoretap in Spain.
She has toured with CODACA in Central America and the Caribbean, METAMORPHOSIS in Mexico and the Swing Machine Orchestra in Spain. Since 2017 she is a founding member of Sebastian Weber Dance Company from Germany, where she lives nowadays. As a soloist, Andrea also produces, dances and teaches worldwide.
Nikolai Kemeny
Nikolai Kemeny, a modern hoofer, unites rhythm and movement. He's studied with renowned tap dance masters, creating innovative performances and art films.
Nikolai's work has earned international acclaim, from performances of Duke Ellington's classics to global tours with Andrea Alvergue.
His unique style shines in productions like COSMIC TAP and LAZARUS.
Nikolai's passion inspires worldwide through workshops and performances.
THE FLOOR
THE FLOOR is not just a studio; It is the rehearsal stage for Leipzig's contemporary Tap Dance pioneers, the Sebastian Weber Dance Company.
The dance floor is made with love - a carefully crafted hardwood floor that's a joy to dance on, both comfortable and with a great sound.
It has all the essentials: wood floor, mirrors, a communal kitchen for your convenience, and showers to freshen up.
It's a place to unwind and let your creativity flow, located in the industrial charm of the Pittlerwerke, Leipzig.

1 Tap Class : 40.00€, reduced: 36.00€
2 Tap Classes : 70.00€, reduced: 63.00€
3 Tap Classes : 100€, reduced: 90.00€
Choreography Special (incl. both dates) : 120€
